We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Application Architect, based in Brussels.

Main Responsibilities

Typical tasks covered are :

• overseeing IT Applications are according to specifications
• overseeing change requests
• Elaboration of test plans
• Writing technical documentation
• Architecture design of information Systems
• Assist with deployment and configuration of the system
• Assist with the training of the users
• Apply the DG methodology and best practices

Successful Candidate

Mandatory skills:

• In depth knowledge and proven experience with Java:
• Java – at least 10 years of experience
• Spring Framework
• Hibernate
• In depth knowledge and proven experience of HTML/XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS
• In depth knowledge and proven experience of relational databases
• Experience with continuous integration frameworks : Jenkins, Ant, Maven
• experience of web client technologies :
• JavaScript – at least 5 years of experience
• JQUERY
• Angular
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments
• Ability to work in English (written and oral).
• Team player attitude.
• Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment and experience in team working.
