Job Introduction

Für ein neues Unterbringungsprojekt im Raum Berlin sucht die Serco Services GmbH ab sofort mehrere Heimleiter/innen.

For the purposes of a new hospitality project based in the region of Berlin, Serco Services GmbH are looking to recruit several Center Directors (M/F).

Main Responsibilities

Aufgaben:

• Die Heimleitung ist zur selbstständigen Entscheidung in allen Angelegenheiten befugt. Sie leitet und führt alle Mitarbeiter / innen und koordiniert ggf. die eingesetzten Dritten. Die Heimleitung is verantwortlich für die ordnungsgemäße Umsetzung des Betreibervertrages vor Ort.
• Koordination, Gewährleistung und Supervision der täglichen materiellen, sozialen und medizinische Versorgung der Bewohner;
• Durchführung, Planung und Evaluierung der Aktivitäten der Unterkunft in Abstimmung mit dem operativen Management;
• Bereitstellung von Massnahmen der Überwachung und Unterstützung unter Berücksichtigung der individuellen Bedürfnisse der Bewohner;
• Bewahrung der Ruhe in der Einrichtung und Sorgen für eine gute Kommunikation;
• Durchführung von Mediationen und potenziellen Maßnahmen;
• Mitarbeiterführung und Motivation durch Coaching und Leistungsbeurteilungen;
• Vertretung der Unterkunft bei externen Partnern;
• Gebäudeverwaltung und Überwachung sämtlicher Aspekte der persönlichen Sicherheit der Bewohner, Mitarbeiter;
• Budgetplanung;

Main responsibilities:

• The home management is authorized for independent decision in all matters. She directs and leads all employees / inside and coordinated possibly the third parties employed. The home management is responsible for the proper implementation of the operating contract on the spot.
• You coordinate, ensure and monitor the daily material, social, and medical reception of the residents;
• You follow, plan and evaluate the centre's activities in coordination with the operational management;
• You guarantee monitoring and assistance targeted to the individual needs of residents;
• You guarantee the calm in the center and ensure good communication, following and respecting the instructions. You manage mediations and potential measures;
• You motivate, direct and guide employees through coaching, performance and assessment interviews;
• You are the centre representative with external partners;
• You manage the building and monitor all aspects of personal safety of the residents, staff members and buildings;
• You manage the budget resources available for the centre management.

Successful Candidate

Profil: 

• Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium oder Fachhochschulstudium;
• mehrjährige Leistungserfahrung (in Unterkünften);
• Erfahrung in Projektmanagement;
• Beherrschung der deutschen, englischen und mindestens einer relevanten Fremdsprache, bevorzugt Arabisch;
• Kenntnis der politischen/ sozialen Verhältnisse der wichtigsten Herkunftsländer;
• Kenntnis von Asylpolitik und den entsprechenden Institutionen;
• Diversity-Kompetenz und interkulturelle Kompetenz;
• Sie sind in der Lage eine langfristige Vision für die Unterkunft zu entwickeln;
• Sie definieren Ziele und setzen diese schnell in Aktionspläne um;
• Sie schaffen und fördern den Teamgeist;
• Sie besitzen die Fähigkeit, Krisensituationen und Stress ergebnisorientiert zu bewältigen;
• Sie beherrschen Management-Instrumente (KPI) und sind in der Lage, ein Budget und eine Infrastruktur zu verwalten;
• Sie besitzen gute EDV-Kenntnisse (MS-Office; schnelle Einarbeitung in branchenspezifischer Software)

Your profile:

• You preferably have a university degree (Bachelor / Master);
• You have several years of experience in a similar role (social work with accommodation);
• You have project management experience;
• You speak fluent German and English.
• Knowledge of an additional relevant language would be an asset, preferably Arabic;
• You have good knowledge of asylum policy and its institutions;
• You are able to develop a long term vision for the centre;
• You set goals, you quickly implement plans of action;
• You accompany employees in their development;
• You create and improve the team spirit;
• You act with integrity;
• You have the ability to handle crisis situations and stress by focusing on results;
• You are able to handle management tools (KPI), to manage a budget and infrastructure;
• You manage the use of IT tools.
