We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager based in Brussels.

Main Responsibilities

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

  • Guide the team in charge of project activities and review their deliveries
  • Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings
  • Prepare and maintain project and quality plans,track activities against the plan,provide regular and accurate reports
  • Definition of tasks and deliverables within the planning, quality control, risk analysis and management,and status problem reporting
  • Monitor process and use of resources and taking corrective actions where necessary to ensure that projects are within the scope.
  • Adopting and applying appropriate technical and strategies standards to ensure the quality of the deliverables.
  • Monitor sub-contractors to ensure guidelines,internal procedures and quality standards are maintained and followed
  • Assign and coordinate project work to teams
  • Ensure compliance with DIGIT’s QA processes and documenting the projects
  • Attend educational workshops and seminars to improve on existing job knowledge and skill.

Successful Candidate

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Technical skills required:

  • Expert knowledge of Drupal
  • Knowledge of digital services and trends
  • In-depth knowledge of PHP, XML, XSL, SQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript,JQuery, Drupal Module Development, Apache HTTP services (LAMP model)
  • Knowledge/experience with Content Management System (Drupal)
  • Knowledge/experience with JIRA/CONFLUENCE
  • Knowledge/experience with Apache Solr
  • Knowledge RDBMS
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux environments
  • Knowledge/experience with MATOMO analytics
  • Sound understanding of PC and Mac operating systems
  • Skilled with up-to-date Adobe products
  • Familiar with GitHub and BitBucked
  • Knowledge of SEO and content promotion
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum and UML)
  • Familiar with Information Providers Guide (IPG)
